A western with Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin, great, then I started watching it and Clint was playing a guitar and singing? WTF. I keep watching then Lee starts singing about civilisation, couldn`t watch anymore, very disappointed. Oh well, looks like The Good, The bad and the Ugly again.

O`Brother where art thou was great, got a few good laughs, classic movie that will be watched again.

Raising Arizona did only so-so at the box office, and did not receive great reviews. Pity, as I've always considered it one of the Top 10 funniest movies of all time (up there with Groundhog Day).

RE: Paint Your Wagon. Clint has never been able to live down that singing bit.

Yeah, uhm. Maybe I should've warned you all that it is a musical.

My bad

Clint playing a Martin instead of a Magnum just isn't cricket.

You're right. It is a bit of departure from Dirty Harry.

Two favorites.

Lee Marvin in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance"

Clint Eastwood in "High Plains Drifter"

I'm happy Jarvid chimed in on that because as soon as he did I went, "Oh yea, I watched about 10 minutes of that." I hate musicals, with the exception of the Wizard of Oz. To me it's not a musical. It's a movie that happens to have a bunch of singing in it.

While I have a ton of favorite Clint movies, Pale Rider ranks towards the top.

The Unforgiven. Clint hit the heigths of the western genre with that one.

My opinion of the, "The Hateful Eight"?

OK movie for a modern day attempt.

Another modern western I liked was Aliens vs Cowboys, didn't get the best reviews, but I enjoyed it.

I liked Bone Tomahawk more than the Hateful 8. I really liked Cowboys vs. Aliens. It was odd enough to be entertaining.
