That was bloody neat Steve !! sheesh , were those roads a bit damp in places ? Has your cam got a wind buffer setting to kill some of the noise ?
As for the BG sound ... might seem like a silly question , but are you attaching the sound to the vid before uploading mate ?
I know you can add it on google , but sometimes it is better to just build the darn thing local and upload the whole lot in one bit ..

No wind buffer setting , unless it does it automatically , sound in general is a bit crappy which is why I wanted to put a tune on there .
Did all the editing on laptop and uploaded from there complete with sound already added . Takes about an hour to upload the file , so after a couple of tries added to time figuring out camera software and a couple of abortive attempts I've wasted a couple of evenings on this stuff (though I have learnt a few things as well).
The worst thing is I had the perfect track lined up , which was great with the vid
I think I'll PM Jules , the other guy's suggested it and I was thinking of doing it myself .
BTW Dr Sprock , I tried adding audio on youtube itself , but they dont have a lot of choice and certainly not the 'Old Fart' track I had in mind

Gee , gravel and damp !! not a good combo at the best of times Hawk..
I don't mind the damp roads ..although I thought that you may have been going a little quick in a few place for my nerves because I spotted a few wet patches and assumed it was all damp
....then I panicked for you mate ...LOL
I never have been good riding pillion ... or in this case .." cam illion "
If anyone can sort you with the sound ...Jules will be it !! that's for sure ...

I ride that road a LOT Steve , I spent about an hour one Sunday morning just going up and down that stretch , so I know it pretty well . It's one of those roads that is great to do in both directions , but conditions can change from day to day so , I always check it out before really turning up the heat

Hello Steven :-)
It is a good video and it's nice to see someone driving on the correct side of
the road :-) ...those Amercans are lethal ..lol
As far as the music goes I was lucky as youtube happened to have the track I
wanted, which was the actual track I was listening to on my ipod during the
ride ... you have to go to EDIT VIDEO and then look for the Audio SWAP
button, you will be given long lists of various music tracks you can substitute
your soundtrack with :-)
I also have a neat trick to deal with wind noise and let you hear my engine ;-)

Yup ...its good to get to know certain roads close to home for the fun chit Steve ...
I have a run that I do at least once every week here, that I call
"the block-ie"
Kerri asks where om going and I just answer ...around the block , she know exactly where om going ...
Its a trip that basically goes right around the entire Peninsular here ...about 120 - 150klms (depending how far out into the mainland I go) of varying roads ...30klms of Freeway and the rest a combo of mostly fast straight-ish(slightly windy) and 50% real windy coast road.... all of which I can just about do blind folded and with no probs use everything the old girl has under the bonnet for most of it..LOL
but ...Kerri comes with me about half the time and then I have to stay sane
psssst...BTW I wasnt going to mention it here , but last weekend while getting myself into all sorts of interesting chit (all of which om not going to tell about here )
but....
I had a fair dinkum flat-tack run with an R1 !! FROM A STANDING START ! ... fruit , are they hard to blow off !!! ...actually just to stay with too is a mission from god ... woowee , we did not get left behind though , he got the jump on me for about 1000 yds ...but then !!!
........it took all of the gears , throttle pinned on the dam stop and 10,000 + rpm! for about 5 klms to shake the bugger and I only shook him because he was a chicken chit when we got into some rather undulating very fast slightly wind-y stuff.... that I could do blind folded
I know under controlled conditions that an R1 with an equal rider will blow the 1000F away even if it is only slowly.... and om tellin yu , he was pretty guttsy for a while ...but he gave up as soon as he realised that me and the old girl were bloody serious ...LOL
I will leave it with saying , including that R1 run , last sunday was a very event filled 200klms Hawk
