i honestly dont know what type of exhaust it is lol it is from a can am no idea though lol previous owner had it on there but i am wanting something to give the bike a little more of growl. Right now it is real quiet and kinda tinny. I have no idea on the history of the bike or even if that is an original color. all i know is the graphics are clear coated on i believe. Bike runs pretty good and i have loved it. I got it on monday and have not gotten of it since. G/f is kinda intimidated by it because it is a different riding position than she is used to as a passenger( I had a cruiser before this bike. I actually traded a crappy cruiser for this bike) Anyways it is alot of fun and thanks The seat is really comfy as well. I will take better pics when i get home and post them up in my album

Edit:

Just did a search and the exhaust is off a can am spyder and is made by hindle. If that answers your questionshttp://www.psndealer.com/powersportsdlr/images/ec0398/219400073.jpg

Talking exhausting question :-))

Nice bike and I reckon it had the yellow and black paint scheme for that model year.
A can am can eh ? wow well that is different for sure man. I think you'll find this bike
you were lucky enough to find a complete treasure as you get more and more used to
it. .... yeah hey post up more pics in the rides section with bigger rez .... as I said nice
looking bike man

Update : Discovery (I think) seems if true that a Can Am exhaust is on your bike then

THIS

may well be an alternative method of adding a Two Brothers Can to a 1000 F !
Many of us thought TimBucTwo managed to get the last one out of the warehouse

In fact there are many kits out there for the CanAm Spyder 990 that would likely fit now that
I search this out !

Ah SO Grasshopper me thinks the link pipe(s) looks spot on !!!!!!!!!

Won't know until somebody trys one out I guess

So Herb man can ya post up a close up of that CanAm
exhaust as it is attached to your 1000F ??

Default how it is connected

well it is nothing special how it is connected. the previous owner used some connection pipe from the auto parts stores and then used a u clamp to connect it all together. IN my opinion how it is connected is horrible. The goo thing though is i believe it has aftermarket headers but i am not dure i will have to take pictures and show you guys. One question i have is did these bikes originally come with two mufflers. one on each side. Because if that istrue then my bike for sure has a aftermarket header. Anyways i will take some pics as soon as i find my camera
