That is one very tidy CBR1000F Macca. Start with the stick coil mod!

Cheers, SB

Sure is Seb - one sweet clean looking Hurricane right there.

My tip - after Sebs World Famous Stick Coil Mod

shim the needles one extra shim - takes any idle to 4krpm stutter out

& HOLD ON TIGHT

I can't remember if I posted in this thread before. I've been a member for a while.
I used to have a 1988 CBR1000F in the Black and Red color. I currently have a 1996 CBR1000F. I also have a 1999 CBR1100XX. Here's some pics

Greetings, tis I Scottish Steve and my Trusty Steed...."The Kracken" A 90' in White...

I had a poster of said mythical beast on my bedroom wall as a lad.....I was kinda obsessed with the 1Kf for a while then discovered page 182 of the school biology book......

Needless to say a healthier if not partially blinding pursuit ensued.... "Dont worry son, the novelty will wear off..... ahem!

However the right 1K has finally been sourced and "The Kracken" lives...... not in an undersea marmion environment but a partially heated garage in sunny Nairn....Scotland.

Good forum guys, great advice....good effort

Well welcome to the CBR Forum Scottish Steve

I think you'll fit right in. Good to see you're giving your steed warm accommodation. And I'm 53 and the novelty STILL hasn't worn off.........

So, post some pics of The Kraken when you can.

Cheers, SB

That's not a novelty................................it's a weapon

At least that's what the girls tell me

And a warm Zulu welcome to the lad frae bonny Scotland.................

Ye lads have the same problem with English we do, can't understand what they English are on aboot ! .

So the Kraken lives so all we need now is.................a buddy called Moby to ride with

Welcome to the asylum !

Welcome Scottish Steve. We must have had different biology books across the pond.

G'day Strek !,
Good to see you got another 1000F mate !!!! I'm still around mate I just dont go on the other forum hardly at all these days. I got back today on the BB and she needs fork seals. I've taken the forks out and have ordered replacement seals and dust covers. seems there is always something to do on these things....lol.
