Shawshank is also on my Desert Island Five - with Finding Nemo (Big Tough Bloke that I am - I always cry), Band of Brothers (bit of a cheat with a series , but what the hey!), Love Actually, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity, The Big Lebowski (thanks Woof ) and - ok it's SIX, no SEVEN, no EIGHT, no...............!

Princess Buttercup looks more beautiful now......... I think I'm going to have to watch it tonight

Funny you should mention that, has been compulsory Xmas Eve viewing in our house for as long as I can remember.

This year though (for the first time ever) neither of the girls are coming home for Christmas. Philippa is off to the States for a month and Amy is staying in Christchurch for work until New Year.

Might be a bit Bob Cratchit in our house this year.
