Book in for treatment
I can sit for hours listening to Pink Floyd. Having a Jimmy Black and listening to "the Floyd master" is Treatment my Aussie Brother. No matter what physical thing you build in life, it will eventually return to dust. Build a bridge it will colapse eventually. Build an oil pipeline, it will eventually return to dust.
Now, keeping your lunatic in your mind will last as long as the universe exists. How can something that travels to other places in your dreams (you've never been there, but you dream about it, don't you), talks to you when you are busy, sings in other people's tones - to music that is not presently playing - to you when you ride, gives you advice whether you asked for it or not, helps you with problems that seem to large to solve and just plain has no existence except in your mind ever turn to dust? Can't turn to dust upon our deaths because it doesn't exist yet we all experience interaction with our little voice!
I'm starting my treatment in the late afternoon tomorrow! I need some JD on ice with my Pink Floyd please!.....
I'm starting to scare myself....

Steve, I heard of Bowie, but I never listened to his "music"?.... Kind of strange, but hey, aren't we all a little different. BTW, I am happy so I fit in with the first vid.
Got a touch of vertigo this morning. All that wind the last few day (60 mph +) and going out motorcycle shopping must have gotten to my inner ear. But, my inner child is still playing in the sand box, so I'm good to go!!
I think I am going back to bed. I feel like one of your tossed snails when it lands on your neighbor's concrete deck by accident!!!

I was just listening to "space oddity" in the kitchen a couple days ago and the old lady said "god I hate that song!", so I turned it up and sang along!!
"Take your protein pills and put your helmet on" sweetheart!
I've never been a big bowie fan, but I like that song.

More shopping and singing along with Bowie
Sir Trout, I might like more Bowie stuff, if I did not see what he looks like. Kind of looks like me when I have vertigo and walk with my head hanging to the side. You aren't trying to tell me something Steve???
Took a nap, brain is balanced now (wind must have blown back out!) so I am off to get 40 yard of rock for the yard! Rock being delivered in the desert - who would have thought that would happen!
Tomorrow, it is test riding time for some bikes. That is if I can get that Bowie song out of my little voice's f.cking mouth!! I can not and will not let that little concept of a voice sing to me in Bowie's voice!!! What have you Brits done to my little voice in my head with Bowie!!!???

She hates that, too.
Very nice with the "Hey You" vid. That's one of my favorites. I like a lot of Floyd, though. I have a full size "Dark Side of the Moon" poster back in my old room at my parent's house. By "full size", I mean 8ft x 10ft!

i tried it today. popped the old iPod into the Joe Rocket jacket, threaded the headphones through it...ran them into the helmet, put on da shades and went into the 50F weather. Sounds somewhat idyllic, eh?
FargAT that! i ripped the headphones out after a few miles. If i can't hear the rattle of my cam chain while she's cold or later on, the sound of the exhaust, it's not a full, true and valid riding experience.
Safety concerns aside, I much rather hear the whistling of the wind, the noise the bike makes and the whistles of the hot chicks in their cars when i glide past them. Ok,...i'm dreaming on the latter....
