Be careful Matti, I made the same offer last year. I think between Seb and I, we managed to consume half of NZ's total annual production of red meat and alcohol in a week.

But it was also a great deal of fun.

That's kinda what I'm aiming for Thanks to my neighbor I got a straight access to prime Charolais beef raised in a farm 40km from our house and butchered 40km the other way, after which the cuts are home delivered to our doorsteps. The meat has barely cooled when we get it, the only way to get more fresh stuff is go make the kill in the field yourself. And as said in the drinking topic I just had three cases of beer delivered frlm Sweden as that particular brand isn't in stores here, also been honing my meat and chili smoking skills the whole summer.

So, when's the flight gonna be in Helsinki so I know to come pick you up?

Ok Matti,

That is an incredibly kind offer, and our hosts have just offered us their old Renault Espace to drive until it doesn't anymore

I just have to do the front ball joints.

Mrs SB and I will be considering ALL options - we are off to the UK to catch up with a friend in Yorkshire so may be able to hook up with a few of the CBR1000F crew on the way through.

The time being we are down the south of France, will be hopping into Spain for a look see then planning the northern areas so..............

Will keep in contact!

Cheers, The Travelling 'Bears

PS: Mrs SB just checked flights from Paris CDG to Helsinki return and they're just over $300 AUD

Let's hope that doesn't happen too soon Ahhh the endless ball joint wrestle with the frenchies... still gives me the shivers... Being familiar with old pugs you're probly already carrying an extra 5l of coolant should anyway...

Well let me know if you happen to look up one morning in a strange and barren looking terminal and find yourself staring at a white flag with a blue cross.

I'll raise the renault bar with a Volvo S80 T6 I want it back though...

Completely depending on the quantity and alc vol. of the beverages served

Local party punch recipe:

3 bottles of vodka
1 tablespoon of raisins
ice

For a lo-carb version, leave raisins out.
