As if you all give a Damned

Another update.
Sorry for the cryptic message. I was a bit pissed and feeling sorry for myself
Thanks for the well wishes. Well received
The current update
The trout population in Washington State has decreased significantly lately as well as the number of available bi-valves.
I'm on the dole as of the present yet supplementing my meager income as a hod-carrier for some old bricklaying friends doing custom stonework on some nice waterfronts on Hood's Canal. Back breaking labor for sure at my age but not without its perks at low tide.
Lunch on the half-shell.
Och, don't worry about me and I wouldn't forsake any of you blokes for an Italian tart. Well, unless she rode in on a prancing horse.
Fat chance o' that

Not to worry, Mattson. Sorry for the drama. The only bad plans I had were for my liver. Nothing more.
I do appreciate your concern.
If anyone is interested. I'm killing trout, not Kilgore for the record, on a pair of beautiful vintage, one circa 1950's and one circa 1960's Mitchell 301's (the left handed version of the venerable 300) married to two equally vintage Garcia fiberglass rods. Using slip bobbers on the top or stink bait off the bottom. Not technical angling by any means, but peaceful and fulfilling on a good day.
Other days, well it's less fish, more potatoes
Now to tell you all, I'd rather decompress by fishing, but this what has happened to all of the cheese shops in Washington

Welcome back Woof, keep us posted on your doings
And Sprock - I'm back! Start the fishing thread and I'll post a picture of yesterdays catch.
Cheers, SB

Och aye, I'm using bait. So don't go all Norman MaClean on me. It's big lake.
If I can capture one the indigenous low flying winged bugs. Perhaps a Doctor of Entomology would identify the little bugger. I might then be tempted to fling their likeness about.
