I lost my mate today........

A sadness the size of a continent fills both Mrs SB and myself today.

Oscar the Wonderdog succumbed to an unknown toxin at noon today

We brought him home from Mount Gambier and buried him in front of 'his' possum hunting tree with his bed and toys.

I'm sorry to hear that Seb. They become part of the family very quickly and losing them in such circumstances sure does suck. Cheers mate.

TK you are a gem - one in a million! Thanks for the call it means the world to us.

The little town of Mount Pleasant is in mourning over the loss of Oscar. I had the mechanic and the Fire Chief shoulder to shoulder helping me dig his grave.

Sorry for your loss SB.

You gave him the best life possible while he was with you. That's all that you could do.

He was fortunate that you had him, and not that guy in your pic from Vietnam. (Which still bothers me!)

Really sorry to hear, itīs the hardest when you don`t expect it (not that it gets any easier when you do, ask how I know...)

Best I can say is comfort yourself knowing you gave him the best he could have got and treasure the moments you had.

R.I.P. Oscar.
