Reminds me of Aquanet and Spud Guns Dylan
Man, I know. And lighting your hands on fire over and over again...

That girl that I knew..the one that used to race... she made a compressed air potato gun in the garage. Basically 2" steel pipe, a tank, and some valves. Absolutely crazy how hard and fast that thing would throw a spud. It would shoot them out of sight.

Thanks lads! Such a knowledgeable lot.

I think I'll leave 'er as is unless it starts to bind or feel not smooth enough. If/when it gets worse, I'll give 'er a new o-ring with a smear of fancy grease.

thx!

Mike

ps - Sprock, PADI advanced over here ... got all the gear collecting dust in the basement ... a bad trip freaked wife (my dive buddy) out so have not been under for 2+ years.

pps - bonus points to all contributors for how quickly this thread derailed into WD-40 and 'tater gun territory! Impressive

HAHA!!
All you have to do is mention lube, mike, and it'll get to WD quickly.
Just be glad it didn't go the KY Jelly route like so many others have....
