Great minds think alike ...... I'm trying to come up with a rig that can be
taken off the bike in like five minutes when the trunk/case is not being used
the Renntec is about as close as you can get .... 4 seat rail bolts and the
whole thing is off including whatever mount plate you attach to the Renntec

I tried that method, Doug, and it failed epically. My foot got caught on an s-hook and I dropped it in a gas station parking lot.

But yeah, sprock.... I don't think it would be too hard just to fab a rack. Not terribly complicated.

I have two Nonfango rack brackets for a CB1000 that you could adapt to fit under the grabrail - just need to tack on some small brackets. I have the U-brackets that attach to them too, and a rear box plate... Then all you need is a couple of bags................ Guys have tried mounting a Givi box and plate on the Renntec rack, but to get it off quickly is a bit of a pain, unless you use butterfly nuts.....they (the butterfly nuts) are also inclined to come loose. If anyone's interested, I'll take pics.
No charge, as usual, just postage.............
.
HOLY MOLY !!!!! LOOKIT THE PRICE ON THAT STUFF !!

Mine look almost identical, free !!!
Maybe I should put my price up.........
And you can make them carry sidecases................
