Still ya could go hunting and and haul your kill back with it , s'what is on my mind ...LOL

But looking at it as a template, fabricating a lighter version out of alum would be simple
enough and not bad as a temporary rack / hauler for camping trips and long touring runs
etc ! Has it's purpose I'd say since it comes off the bike in minutes .................

Yup, saw them , guess what ....they're so easy to fabricate it ain't even funny.
Got some material I could make one out of, in about 30 mins easily. with something
like this

Hmmm ..... another project to try out ..... maybe

Yeah, there isn't much to them at all. I may have enough scrap metal lying around here at work to "borrow" enough to make one.

I am all for touring and long rides. But there is a weight limit that bikes can carry. That poor single shock and the tires.

Well, considering a passenger's weight, you should be able to pile a lot of crap on there without worrying about maxing the rear out.

I just don't think I'd ever be carrying enough stuff that it would warrant a deck the size of an aircraft carrier....LOL...
