Halloween
So Halloween is fast approaching. Does anyone here do anything fun?
What do you all do in other countries? I'm interested to know.
Over here, we carve up pumpkins in funny shapes and chit, and then the kids go door to door in costumes begging old people for candy.
It's kind-of a funny tradition, really...
Then there are haunted houses and corn mazes, and other cool stuff. People decorate their houses with spooky chit, too.
So what are you all doing?
Usually my one friend has a Halloween party, and we all dress up and get drunk. That's kind-of fun. (Not like sprock's "dress up" parties, either...)
Ok, now for a Halloween joke:
Q: What do West Virginians do on halloween?
A:..... Pump-kin!
Here is a pic of some jack-o-lanterns that my sister carved (for all you computer nerds out there)

We stay at home and give out colored pencils to the trick-or-treaters. We've been doing that since 1980.
As for what they do in foreign countries, in 1970, I was on my first night of R&R in Sydney, Australia. It was Halloween, and my buddy and I went and saw the play "Hair". When the play was over, the cast invited the audience to have a Halloween party with them. After seeing them nude in the play, there were several women I definitely wanted to party with. I'll remember that experience forever.

Australia seems to follow the custom as well .. go figure ?
Our neighbourhood kids all do the Halloween thing and get dressed up ... and run around crazed from all the sugar ... lol
I hate the lazy kids that put just a hat or maybe a black nose or something simple on , just so they can raid the houses for lollies too ..
All me and Kerri do is go to the shop and buy bags of sweets to hand them out ...
I tried getting dressed up one year ....but I didn't go out , for fear that the cops would pull me over for impersonating a bloody idiot ... lol

You should have seen me as Ozzy Osbourne a couple years back. Holy hell.
I wore a long haired black wig, lennon classes, a fluffy white dress shirt (like something Mozart would wear), a black leather jacket, and......purple stretch pants. (I was doing a lot of drinking back then...LOL...)
Shadow, I was curious to hear what the Seth Effricans did on Hallows Eve. Nothin' really, eh?
cb2cbr, that sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad you're not closer, I'd figure something out... maybe an Ozzy Zombie...
I've been waiting to hear from my buddy about his party, although he may not invite me since my Raiders beat his Eagles last weekend..
