Had another Sunday incident...
F'n Sundays! Should be banned..
Got a wicked gastro virus and spent the wee hours of last Sunday with one end of me or the other going off. Threw up so hard something happened to my heart and it started beating crazy on me. Thought I was going to faint all the time. Taken to hospital and put on a drip for severe dehydration, kept in for observation of the heart thing. After two nights with no sleep due to various poor sods (one guy got driven into the ground by a 1000kg bull!) and a chick who took a drug overdose, I signed myself out and went to see my regular doctor. My wife was not amused . They wanted to put me on a blood thinning drug, like rat poison, for a month then hit me with an electric shock to set me straight. Worst thing was I couldn't drive OR RIDE!! I gave the drugs a miss and it came good on it's own after a couple of good sleeps. Had a stress test on a treadmill yesterday and got the all clear.
What a farking week!! Might get a chance to ride tomorrow.
The staff in the hospital were awesome..even the food was great.
It made me think though..one minute you're right, the next, everything can change on you. We might as well enjoy ourselves as much as we can, while we can .

Glad to hear you're doing ok now, Dave...
Good news that the stress test was good.
You're right, though, you never know what's in store for you from one minute to the next. Life doesn't give any guarantees or even a head's up most of the time.
I hope Pete get's to feeling better, too. I know how bad that pneumonia can be. It can knock you around real bad...
