Default desperatly need a man cave

I've two bikes and a trailer in the garage and its filled, why do they build garages so small?
There is no way I can do any work in there and no way I can risk starting work outside (weather and daylight).
The list of jobs is staking - new (2nd hand) Hagon to fit and while the wheels out new cush rubbers, genmar bar risers to fit (easy could do these quick on yard) carbs to balance and oil/filter/plugs to change.
I'm in rented so cant actually buy a shed arggg so frustrating, our last place had a huge garage..
So need long days and good weather or new digs (cant see Heather falling for that one.

In my experience the best man caves are............................

inside the house

Heather will understand......... (then again perhaps not)

Think of the fun you could have

Tiggr,

I know it's not the same mate but if that work needs doing you could always take a day out, bring the bike and stuff you want to fit to my place and do it here. I have a goodsize man cave and you are more than welcome to come and use it. Plus the kids make great tea.

The offer is there mate and I'm not too far away. All my tools would be at your disposal.

Ive got the same prob Dave but maybe not quite as bad as you. My garage is car and half length but with 3 bikes and loads of bits and bobs theres not much room to work. I usually have to put one bike on the drive so I can work on another. Got 2 sheds but full of more rubbish lol

PS Happy birthday for yesterday

I'm home until the 5th Feb so anytime between now and then is not a problem. I'm then back from the rig again on the 20th Feb and home for another 20 days so anytime. Most of those jobs you need to do I've just done after stripping my bike down. The only ones that I havent is the carb balancing and the bar risers.

As for the seat, I'm off to see the upholsterer tomorrow so hopefully it will be sorted soon.

You are more than welcome Dave you could even use my home made bench. My bike should be back together in the next couple of days but there is still plenty of room if you need it.
