OK, TK back in the room.
Sydney turned on it's finest for our short visit. On Sunday we went from 38C to 22C in a matter of minutes, and then got hit by a thunderstorm of epic proportions.
It was a good visit though, did the standard tourist things, the Manly Ferry, Bondi Beach, Opera House etc. etc. All in all (like most cities in Aus.) great to visit, but couldn't see me living there.
As for the Eagles concert?
Absolutely stunning.
That Joe Walsh guy; he knows how to play a guitar a bit doesn't he?
Absolute star of the show.
Anywho, Back to cricket: I didn't see any of Saturday's Kiwi/Aus match. Apparently both teams were a bit sh1te. But we were slightly less sh1te than you guys were?
We'll take that as a win.
Good to see you guys had a win against Afghanistan; I don't think either the Russians or the US could claim that.

Well they just beat Zimbabwe by 8 and are still in the hunt , never even thought they'd
get this far TK, so I must say I'm proud of the Lads all the same
BBC Sport - Cricket World Cup 2015: Ireland deny Zimbabwe in thriller
& Dare I say it ......... t'will be a sticky wicket against India next.
side note , nice defeat of the English Team in the six nations last week at the Aviva in Dublin too

Well there you go, a totally wild card entry that might just do alright.
At the end of comp though Sprock; I think it will be Aussie, Pom, SA and NZ.
Just my prediction, not seeing a lot of Irish team's in the final.
Mind you, those Aussies are playing a bit sh1te at the moment.
They might be lucky to make the final as well.

I found this rather amusing to say the least. I think It may have taught ole jabber Jaws Johnson something about humility (Probably not though if being truthful)

Full credit to the Sri Lankan batsman though.

True TK and to be honest it's a miracle they have done so well to this point
they will have their work cut out Sunday in Adelaide - BUT they can beat
Pakistan again just like the shock win they had against them in Jamaica in 07 !
Stay tuned - everything is possible with these Guys when they put their minds to it
& just because they beat SA means the Irish Guys will try doubly hard for the upset.

It's going to be bonzer weather on Sunday for the game................
Sunday 15 March
Summary Min 16 Max 29 Partly cloudy. Adelaide area
Partly cloudy. Light winds becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the morning.
And the new(ish) ground keeper is well on top of his game. Should be a great pitch for the contest.
Cheers, SB

As we speak; I have concerns.
ICC Cricket World Cup, Game 37 Live Seddon Park, Hamilton Bangladesh vs Live New Zealand 288/7 (50) 211/4 (40)
We appear to need 78 in the next ten overs, that's probably a reasonable ask even for NZ.
Hmm; slightly reassuring
"When the sides met for a Test on this ground in 2010 Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill added 339 for the sixth wicket"
