Default A chain letter of sorts

Got a wild hair and bid on the April 1987 issue of Cycle magazine. Contains a road test of the CBR1000f.

Here's the game.

When I announce that I am done with the magazine, I will send it to the first person who PM's me. I'll pay the postage. Any other players after me can haggle about who pays the postage. That'll be between you and the next person.

After you read the magazine post here and forward it to the first person who PM's you.

Any players?

Now mind you, I still don't have it hand yet but I'm confident I'll get it

Disclaimer: This is purely on the up and up. I am not trying to collect addresses to sell you any sort "miracle cleaners" or anything like that. Just some fun amongst enthusiasts

Stay tuned

This guy is almost certainly legit, he has my email address and has never once tried to sell me a miracle cleaner.

We do however regularly exchange You Tube links to historic motor racing clips if anyone else wants to join in that particular wee "sub club".

Almost certainly legit?

That pretty much sums me up.

Wouldn't ever want to be totally legit. Where's the fun in that?

I'm in - I just love getting mail (apart from bills)

I'm just such a sad and lonely SOB with only virtual friends.................

Cheers, SB

PS I think I'm almost legit as well!

Maybe...............

I've been thinking about joining that nosey parker Face Page thing.

And I will reject any friendship requests. So at the end of twelve months I can say "Look, I have no friends"

Maybe overrating myself on the assumption that I will get a friendship request in the first twelve months.

And BTW Dave, Cool idea; how about inserting a couple of blank A4 pages in the mag so we can sign it off as it wends its way around the world?

Count me in.

We could do the same thing with a Factory Service Manual.

Call it The Roaming Tome

Weirdest thing; got to work this morning, and I had an email from a landscape architect (that I have a passing acquaintanceship with) wanting to be my friend on Facebook.

I don't have a Facebook account.

Go away, I don't even like you that much.

Was this seemingly random request simply because I happened to utter the Facebook word on CBRF?

I'm getting scared now, the internet is after me, if I don't join Facebook I will be one of the non people.

I'm hard core - I deleted myself from Facebook.
I don't have any friends either.
Comes with the package I guess.

I think sending a 250 page manual around would be a bit expensive postwise.......
Why not send the magazine to Pacojoseph and he will put it up on his website if we ask nicely?

it's worth watching.
