Default Came across one of these things on the road recently

And I was just soooo tempted to give it the big noise and ride straight underneath it.

Commen sense prevailed, they probably have some kind of sensor that would detect unexpected objects under the tractor and shut it down.

I passed in the conventional fashion.

But, dam I want to do that underpass thing

Wtf is that? Some sort of a tractor but looks purpose built to do sth. Never seen one before.

They are purpose built crop sprayers that work in vineyards,

I'm guessing that there's not a whole heap of vineyards in Finland?

At 76 kg I would make a very unimpressive bail. However the "score" of underpassing the vineyard tractor may have just been worth it, just because no-one else has.

Haha you got that right

There are some farms that also produce wine but nothing in the scale a machine like that would be needed. And to my knowledge the few that are mostly use strawberries and other red berries. Although at the rate that the winters are developing here I wouldn't be surprised to see the first full scale vineyards round here in my time...

They use them here in Florida with the sugar cane fields and orange groves....

...I can't say I haven't had the same thought. I was thinking to myself "I bet I could get right under that..."

I don't think you'd get under that thing without bashing your helmet

I've never seen one of those here - we grow a helluva lot of sugar cane here.
Make all kinds of stuff, grog, petrol, methanol etc etc.
Good stuff sugar cane, it's where the pythons and cane rats live....(For those of you who've never seen a cane rat, imagine a Jack Russel terrier -a rat bigger than that )

Teeks they say the best wine comes from the smaller vines
I guess I'd be OK for Port.......

I have occasionally seen similar farm equipment on the road when I'm out bicycling and I've had the same thought about passing under it. I've resisted the temptation...thus far.
