Default the best biker wave you'll ever see...

So one of my favorite people in the world did a benefit ride this past weekend and I noticed a great pic of her on facebook... this is why you meet the nicest people on a Honda! I just had to share this, I feel like this is why we should all ride. Just look at that smile!

So much for ATGATT....

But she appears to be having a great time. Its hard to relay that feeling to people that don't ride.

Yeah, I don't think that little chili bowl is going to help much. In her defense she said they were waddling/barely getting out of 2nd most of the ride. I still would have geared up but I can understand why she didn't.
Also, she really knows how to crash. That little Shadow has almost 70,000 miles on it (all hers), has been cross country many times, has hit a moose, a deer, went swimming in a river and caught on fire. Bike and rider are stronger than ever.

Pretty much par for the course for a Harley...............LoL

70000 Miles is impressive , but the lack of "gear" is normal for HD riders. They seem to think they are bullet-proof !

Isn't that a jacket on the tank? At least she got it with her, probly just took it off for the parade. Makes a fun comparison having the HD and the two frowns in the background

Every one of us makes choices every day.

How geared up?

How fast?

What are the road conditions actually like? maybe ice, maybe grit.

But at the end of the day, the Harley lady is happy doing what she's doing. And I think that is all we ever ask of our bikes.

She sure looks like she is having fun, not like the nose picker next to her. Imagine how much more of a grin she would have if she got to experience a real motorbike like a 1000f and not that 2 wheeled John Deere.

Yeah... she's sat on my 1000f. Not for her. Not only can she not touch the ground, she's just not a long enough person for it. She looks like she's reaching for the bars on an old zx9 or something! Comfy for me though.

- and honestly those little Shadows are great bikes. Not fast but they can get down if you really ride them. They last forever too. I had a VT1100 for about 6 years and it was great, and honestly I feel the 750 is slightly more robust.
