hi Guys
now getting back in the game with my 1990 FL
some recent work done
sent orig carbs away for ultrasound cleaning, running on spare set now
the bike was impossible to start and i thought it was fuel starvation but actually all the plugs were Fould so i replaced all and nr >3 lead
now it starts pretty much correctly
but ill change the battery for high power gel version soon
still to do
rebuild left fork as the stanchion is scratched ( have a spare re chromed one )
get the original tank re welded on the front support due to cracking ( common issue on fl )
probably change the front wheel bearings as they seem to be growling at low speed
now the paperwork is with the belgian govt for the regristration ( bike was a uk import )
ill let you know how it gets on
