Apparently we don't bounce as well as we used to!

How does the saying go?
'There are lies, damn lies and then there's statistics!'
Generalisation is a very dangerous thing, in reality those figures mean nothing, it all depends on how you want to interpret them. This is why tabloid news papers love statistical data.
'Immigration doubles in two years!!' can simply mean a country had two immigrants instead of one, great for selling papers, but the facts are less exciting.
''Bikers aged 60-plus were more than twice as likely to have a head or neck injury''.........''It notes a decline in bone strength, changes in body fat distribution''
This obviously shows that younger riders have much fatter heads
Or maybe it means older riders all want to live the 'Harley dream' and ride with no helmet and inadequate riding protection?
Who knows? Until you know the facts for each individual incident, it's all nothing but conjecture.

Have to agree there.
As a prank for a PhD lecture one year, I used an example that statistically "proved" that global warming directly led to the demise of pirates. It just shows what twaddle can be produced by the misuse of data sets.

Think about it, back in the day they all used to sail around in environmentally friendly, wind powered sailing ships.
Nowadays, they work as financial advisers, hedge fund managers and sub-prime mortgage lenders in air-conditioned offices.
There's the real correlation between pirates and global warming - the invention of air-conditioning.
But I haven't done a PHD, so I could be wrong.

Hey Dylan, the data already proved that young guys have fat heads, you don't need to prove it for us all over again
