Default Ahhhhhh

Finally. New tires, new brakes, new battery, free up the shift lever, clean and adjust the chain, aaaaaand - ride. Here it is September, summer is nearly gone, and the I'm finally on the road.

After 48 miles I can say the Dunlop Road Smarts work very well on the Hurricane 1kF. At least they do on mine. Reach a curve, thing 'turn' and the bike falls in and maintains with just about no pressure on the bars. My Metzler Road Techs, like a willful horse, took a firm hand to control. I never felt really comfortable with them.

I'm looking forward to a couple rides in the next few weeks as well as the daily running around town. It's going to be a good fall. Um, autumn, that is.

Well, if you should happen to find yourself in the Flathead, I'd be happy to ride with you!
