Oh I have a build thread over in the rides section. Currently knees-deep in reconstructive surgery to the cowl and side fairings. So nice of Honda to wrap this bike in plastic for us...

I'll post an update once I can get humpty dumpty to fit back together again. In the meantime it's just a bench full of busted plastics and sanding dust. Not much to see tbh

Hey all,
I had a request for the worksheet I'd used to take notes during the rebuild. If anyone is interested, here it is in excel and pdf versions (attached)

I'd originally built the sheet for a different bike, and you're welcome to adapt it as needed

Thanks fella

Sorry I've been so quiet on the forum lately - I've been crazy busy at work for the last many months, and also been working on rebuilding a V65 Magna. Yet another of my perpetually unfinished reclamation projects...

I daily the Hurricane almost every day to work, and a had a few runs up the highway as well. It's been an excellent machine. Some great riding. Fits like a glove

The old smell of burned rat is gradually fading away, but every once in a while a catch a whiff of that same dumb joy I had when riding the bike in my 20's - except now it actually runs well and parts hardly ever fall off it

Hardly ever ;)
