DIY Gasket Patterns 87-96 CBR1000F

Hey all,
With certain gaskets becoming more and more rare, I figured I'd put up a copy of the patterns I used to cut my own. I used 1/32" (8mm) Karropak Tan Fibre and got pretty good results with only basic arts & crafts skills. I never use sealant but a bead of permatex wouldn't hurt anything, especially if the mating surface is sketchy

For best results, snag some fine scissors from your wife's sewing room. A hole-punch is also highly recommended (just make sure to return them afterwards)

I tested them all and they lined up pretty well on the first try

Also make sure that print size matches the image size. Refer to scale squares and double-check fitment before installation. I used North American paper sizes and the clutch cover would just barely fit on ANSI letter. The whole works will fit on ANSI C or ARCH C. I'm not familiar with international paper sizes but I think large A2 sheet would be preferred. Either way if you ensure that scaling is disabled it should print correctly

They won't be as good as OEM, so that's obviously the preferred option, but in a pinch these'll do just fine, and probably better than reusing the old one

I'll post pics of the finished products when I get a chance

Made a minor update to correct alignment pin holes on the shifter cover gasket that were tighter than they should have been, and also to flip the shifter cover gasket to make it possible to mirror-match the part more easily. The existing link will lead to the updated version. Here's pics of each one test-fit

@tentacleslap I'm curious by what method you made the patters?
