If you don't transport it a lot, use the video-out and attach it to a in-expensive
desktop screen. Even if you elect for replacement, that can serve till you get ready for the repair. Ern |

Yea I've got a thinkpad and my dad has an extra dock, he sent it out to me on Saturday. But don't worry! It will be finished and I'm taking lots of pictures!!

As much as it broke my heart to see someone put paint stripper on what appeared to be a pristine tank, I still can't wait to see the final result.
I guess the extra HP will just be a side benefit in comparison to that warm glow you get from a job well done. |
If the tank's paint wasn't bubbling up from rust in a few spots I would have left it, but between that and the fact that the PO had super glued their tank pad on so it left a **** ton of residue that I couldn't remove it made it worth it. The tank had orange underneath the yellow and underneath that was yellow again, but I am the second owner the they never mentioned repainting /replacing the tank... very peculiar, but it holds up to my theory that they did in fact drop it.
