I'm too lazy, plus I'm not good with electronics. I just took my garage door remote (key chain version) and put it behind my gauge cluster using velcro. It's out of site and all I have to do is stick my finger behind the gauge and bamm....garage opens and closes like magic.

Well done sir!

I did a similar mod on my F4i. Mounted the garage door opener in the tail all the way at the back and soldered some wires to the contacts and ran that wire up to the rt ram-air cover and put a momentary switch. Works like a charm.
