just found out my front brake light switch isnt working.. glad i have an idea of what to do i will report back with my findings. thanks

This just worked for me as well.

U didn't have sand paper. So I just used my nail.
And I don't know where my soldering **** is so i just didn't bother.

Great idea I'm glad I found it thanks.

Same problem (and fix) here... the good old f3 is definitely getting to that age for electrical gremlins.

Wow, I wish I had known of this before. The switch was only $10 but I also had to wait several days for it. I could have been done much faster lol. Just for future reference, this switch is the same for the F2, F3, F4, and F4i according to the ebay store I bought mine for, so this fix should work on any of the above. Nice write up.
