Thats sick bro, When you put it together how did you make the mesh flush to the back of the fairing, Electrical tape? or did you glue it in?

from what I read earlier in the thread, he used some kinda glue/adhesive personally I have some "liquid nails" industrial adhesive Im gonna try. . .

Let me know if liquid nails works for you. i got that stuff laying around everywhere in my small buisness, use of for pool repair, house repair, **** works for everything but little messy, and hard to get off. so if you get it to work good can you send me some pictures of how you did it. thanks scastillo

I'll let cha know, I probably wont have time to that till the weekend, since I have a couple more projects going on. N I love to take pics of stuff I've done so there will be plenty of pics, lol, Im sure liquid nails is absolutely gonna work, OH my solution to the "messy n sticky" problem: wear mechanics (latex or rubber not sure what they are made of) from auto parts stores they work great against adhesives, gas, karosene, ect... laters

I went to pep boys and found a grill that was sick (diamond pattern) but they wanted something like $40 for it!!!!!! F*** that, I went to homedepot and found a similar size piece of shiny aluminum used for gutters at $2. I didnt have time this weekend to do it, got a lil tied up with spark plugs and carbs. If anyone is working on it post some pics to see the progress

Ok I know this is a old thread but not that old. Does anyone care to share some picture of the process please. Also how well is the glue holding up, or is there a better way with out using glue?

Here's mine with the gutter guard. Just cut it to a little larger than the backside of the opening then bend it over it. I used JB Weld to attach mine and it's ben on there for more than a year and still holding.

not sure I want to do that to mine, but it is interesting. something that people with tuners have been doing for a while in their ground effects kits
