As for the 525/520 chain kits. This is actually a different diameter chain. We, stock f4i'ers have a 525 chain. And alot of people change them out to a 520. Which is smaller and lighter, but not as strong. So it will make you faster, but it wont last as long.
Hope that helps.

thanks so much joe! i think ill do that -1/+2 which would make it 15 front and 47 rear? correct me if im wrong. would it add torque to low rpms or mid or highs? for the chain i think ill stick with the 525s then. are these good? http://www.kneedraggers.com/list/1262 i dont know which one to get because theres X, Z, XW. which one do you guys recommend?

It would be 15 Front/48 Rear (stock is 16/46). With that you'll get faster launches & easier wheelies.
Remember however, that changing the gearing will affect your speedometer, which can be recalibrated using a Speedohealer.
Those chains are all good brands, and x-rings (WXYZ) are much better than o-rings.

IMO a -1+2 on f4i is overkill. If I could go back I'd only do rear. The f4i has a great power band down low and I think the -1 just prematurely wears the tranny. My bike has full yosh, filter and pcIII. It's great for streets of willow (reason for my gear choice) but areas that I could run single gear on the streets I find myself shifting more than would be necessary. Again personal opinion but the stock front would do fine. Rears are easier to change anyway haha.
