I lube every 500km or so but I have never cleaned my chain like that.....how often is it recommended/ necessary?

Decent Vid.............makes the point, personally lube once a week = 350/400 miles
clean and adjust once a month or when I get bored and it's raining

Don't you think a tooth brush may be a bit harsh on the o-rings? I use a soft paintbrush.

nice video. well i just did mine but saw this video after the fact. just sprayed lube on. chain was not heated or cleaned prior. lol oh well i'll do it next week and borrow my friends stand.
