Default CBr125R gear cover difficulties

Can anyone help, I am trying to self-service my cbr-125, have done most bits but when trying to change the oil filer I cannot get the gear cover off. I have taken off all the screws, clutch wire and coolant tubes however it is stuck fast!

Also when i do get it off do I need to replace anything ? (ie gasket)

Thanks

Hey! Sorry to hear you're having troubles... this section is for posts on "How" you did things... posting pictures and write ups on such. Questions should be posted in the "General Tech" section, or in the respective Honda motorcycle section that fits best with your bike.
More people with technical answers frequent those sections, so I recommend you check over there... and good luck!

Here's the "sticky" up at the top by one of the Moderators, incase you'd like to review it. https://cbrforum.com/m_406407/tm.htm
