929/954 tail conversion for a 1996 CBR600 F3

I'm looking o freshen up the rear of my bike and I'm considering a tail swap. I like the look and storage of the 929/954 tail (thanks to 74demon). Has anyone on here completed the swap successfully, if so what's needed and involved to make it happen? Thanks CBRF.
