Yellow engine light

I'm new to the CBR, relatively, and my yellow engine light on my 2010 1000rr has been coming on and staying on for a period of time (like all day) and then will go off and I don't know why. Can anyone help?

The dealer can help...have them plug it in and read the code.

check your basic stuff, oil, coolant, lights ext.
might need a simple tube up if your CEL is going on and off...
