I've had this twice now, oddly both on 1-2wk old new rear tyres!!!

Get it plugged at a place that does bike tyres, I've had no probs on either occasion

as long as the puncture isnt on the sidewall you'll have no problem with patching it. Just have a professional do it.

Could also try Sliming it. I hear that stuff works pretty well for car tires, not so sure about bike tires as I myself haven't tried it, even though I have a bottle of the stuff on hand.

anything other that 100% secure on a bike tyre is too dangerous, you can't fall off a car. If it were me, unless it's a centre puncture that can be plugged, buy a new tyre, not worth a life

definitely wouldnt use slime. wouldnt trust it on a bike tire. You'll also **** off the guy who changes that tire and has to clean up a mess afterwards.

Just learned that the hard way this week, turned out I'd 2 ****in screws and a nail in a 700 mile pilot 3, the guy said to never use any sealants, repair job won't stick. Besides that, I had to buy another tyre re the puncture damage, I've now learned not to be an impatient bastard and stay off the hard shoulder on the motorway!!!!
