Default What is the torque spec for the countersprocket?

Got my 15t sprocket today for my 2004 cbr1000, anyone know the proper torque spec for the nut?

Thank you sir! Glad I checked, I figured it was like 80ft/lbs. 40 doesn't seem like much, should be easy to get off then!

no won't be easy to get off...why? cause as the sprocket spins, it the bolt gets tighter!

I've done these on every bike I've owned, some took more elbow grease than others. My Ducati was the worst plus torque specs on it were like 130 ft/lbs.

Is there any loctite, or anti-seize needed for the bolt, or just good ole pressure?

No loc-tite -- just tighten it up. If you have an impact wrench removal is sooooo much easier.

How involved is it to remove the cover? Do I have to remove all the bolts holding the clutch slave, then just slide it off, or does the clutch slave stay attached to the countersprocket cover?
