Default What stand do I need

I recently bought a 2001 F4i. I need a stand for oil changes, chain lube etc. What kind should I buy? Any links would help.

Thanks.

a rear stand. then if you have swingarm spools or not decides the stand type from there.

You'll know. they're these little things that bolt into the sides of your swingarm from little tabs near the rear on the bottom. they'll look like the picture.

The F4i doesn't have anywhere to mount spools unless you drill the swingarm. You'll need a "swingarm" stand with paddles.

Thank you guys. Is there a particular place that I should buy this "swingarm with paddles"? Are they pretty generic and universal or do I need one that is specifically for the CBR?

my understanding is they're fairly universal. being that most bikes today have a 4.5" wheel minimum and a fairly wide swingarm, you shouldnt have any problem finding one. just dont buy a no name stand. a Pitbull is your best bet for a high quality stand.

I just did; though we'll see how good they are... lol
The stand pictured above can be found at Harbor Freight Tool ~ looks fairly decent for $40.

Lol ~ yeah, it's not for everyone. I know a couple of guys feel the same way. I've had good luck with the products I've bought there. You got to know on what to buy and what is better to get somewhere else.
