I’m looking at a sand rail with a claimed cbr1000 motor but he doesn’t know what model it’s from and all he knows is it’s a 2001.
He sent me a stamp on the engine itself that reads SC44E-2025690.
Does anyone know what motor this is?

I believe it is actually either the 900 rr (fireblade) or the 929 rr (fireblade) i believe the later is the 2001 (although i could be wrong)

Don't suppose you could share the photo of the engine? it might make it a bit easier

PS, its the SC44E that gives it away, bang it into Senior google :P
