Default What does this thing do?

Some device above the dashboard of my cbr 929 that lights up yellow, or red or green. It feels like it's an add on to the bike when I got it from the previous owner. Anyone knows what this is or what it does?

Are there any numbers or a name of a manufacturer on it?

it doesn't have anything written on it oddly enough. But turning the switch on it lights up and then settles with the yellow led on only. It might be some sort of steering stabilizer? If I had to take an uneducated guess. Cause I feel the bike steering being stable at higher speeds, and this unknown device seems to be the only thing that kinda resembles a steering stabilizer? I reallyddon't know I am relatively new to sports bikes.

That the steering feels more stable at higher speeds is completely normal because of the rotating mass of the front wheel.
First I thought it would be a shifter light that tells you when the optimal time is to shift up or down.
However another thought, even though very unlikely, it might be telling you when the bike is running rich or lean. But that at least requires a labda sensor.
When accelerating it should go yellow en decelerating green.....
nahhh

just don't know. Follow the wires.

The black sleeved wire seemed to be the one that is connected to that device. It is connected to the battery and to what I believe the main big Ecu cable that goes to the engine side. Any guess now as to what it does?

This is a pic of the second part of the wire (the green wire coming out of the white socket), connecting to the biggest cable (esu cable?), and heading to the engine side of the cable. Any ideas guys?
