Here's the deal. I found a 1 owner 2005 Candy-apple red CBR600F4i with under 2000 miles.

The female owner said it's never been in the rain, never been down, and it doesn't have a scratch on it.

Stored only in the garage.

What's this thing worth? How do I find out what it's worth?

Is there anything I should specifically look for on this model that should turn me away?

 

Kelly Blue Book says $5215 ~ imo, that would be a really good price with mileage that low and in the condition she states it's in. Here in CO, I'd say $6K would be an asking price for that bike.
At 2K miles that bike should purr like a sleeping kitten. Heck, it should still even have that new bike smell to it My guess is either she or her husband bought that bike, later to find out it's not her "thing".

 

Asking price is 6500. She said she's willing to negotiate.

I just don't know about the color. I kinda like the blue and black one better or the earlier year in arrest me red.

 

Wish in one hand and crap in the other...see which one gets full first. Deals like that don't come along every day.
