Bike starts normally when cold, but it has a weak start (sometimes doesnt start) when the temp gets to 215-220 and I run in a store for 5 minutes. The bike is an 09 cbr 1000. I bought the bike used at 9k miles and the previous owner never changed out the battery. Thanks guys.

 

Possibly a charging issue or tired battery.
Check your voltage before crank, during crank and then whilst running first.
