Default Wanting my wheels to have a glossy look, help

I have a 06 cbr600rr with the flat black wheels and want them to have the shine like the newer bikes do on their wheels. I want them to have a high gloss look. Whats the home method of doing this a safe way. Thanks.

i don't think that flat blaack is supposed to shine(flat). did they come that way? are they realy flat black or just dirty and dull?
the only way for flat black to shine is to spray with a gloss(i think).

backyard style is to spraybomb them gloss black. But it will chip easy n not last long. The right way to do it to get them powered coated.

I use WD-40 to clean and shine my wheels. it does great at cleaning them AND keeping a good gloss(07 1k). The rims are more flat than gloss from the factory so if you want gloss with out constant cleaning and shining, go with powder.

+1 on the WD-40 to clean wheels.
But be VERY careful to not get it on the rubber....(Duh)
