when i am looking at the front of my bike it appears the under fairing stay the one the mirrors bolt on to is bent. the bike flipped over forward and i gues bent it. it seams to be only slighty bent but i am not sure. do you think i will be able to remont the upper fairing like this? or should i replace it?

 

If you mount the upper fairingto it, it'll will probably not fit. It might also cause damage to the fairing. I would replace the upper stay. They are cake to get off and on... I've been through 7 or 8 or those damn things. Look around on ebay, you should be able to find on there for a good price.
