Default Tyre pressure

I know this has been a sac led a hundred times and I know there are a lot of variables, but my pilot power 2ct rear tyre has recently started squirming about and after checking the pressure I’ve found to be approx 25psi. It’s cold and damp and I mainly commute short distances with the odd fast road ride out,can you give me an idea where my rear (and front) pressures need to be please
thanks

The factory recommended pressure should be in the owners manual and on the bike somewhere. 25 is way too low. It should be somewhere between 36 an 42 for the most part. I like 38r and 40f. I would set it at 40 on both and see how it feels, then drop or add a few pounds as necessary.

each to his own, but I'd agree that 25 is way too low for street riding. Maybe specifically for drag racing it might be beneficial?? Not sure, but on cars it can help.

I'd go at least 32-34

Keep in mind that the tire pressure also affects the overall spring rate of the suspension.

36 front and 41 rear is Honda standard.
25 rear with race slicks designed for those pressures sure, street TIRES [] no way.

Cold (35-36 F) and (40-42 R) Usually much under and it gets boaty, and over it gets hoppy in the turns. . on Battleaxes
Honda says 36/40.., That makes for a good starting point. as different tires, brand and sizes, need different pressures. (best to start at pressures listed on tyres, usually no more than a cpl psi either way is needed) adjust by feel and wear from there.
