i recently purchased a 2000 929RR. it started on the first kick for about a week. then after a long ride it started giving me problems. i have to turn the fuel pump on a few times before it will finally start. it always starts after a while but its getting worse. my bike is in nuetral, switch is on, and i have gas in the tank.... i dont think its the fuel filter because after it does start it runs great, no problems.... please help, i cant afford a dealer and its my main source of transportation.
