As long as the title isn't a salvage, all you should have to do is go to the secratery of state and transfer it

This is only what I've heard so Im not 100 percent sure, but.

If you own the bike before moving to California, there are not any restrictions.

If you are a resident, and you are buying a motorcylce that is not California specific, as long as the bike has a miminum of 7500 miles on it, you can transfer it to california without any issues.

I'm not sure why, but thats the skinny on it.

I think all that will be necessary is forking a bunch of cash over to the dmv once the bike gets here and you should be good.

Shipping is brutal. Why don't you just find a nice f4 here in cali for a good price?
