think cdi is out? f4
at the end of the summer last year my bike started acting up. it got worse and worse. it would die and eventually restart. it started taking longer as the bike would need to sit longer before trying to start it. i checked the fuel filter on the side of the highway during one of its fits and had no restriction in it. good flow. i assumed the fuel pump was going out. so i parked it for the winter. well now that its getting closer to riding season i tried to put some fuel down the carbs and had no luck. tried starting fluid. nothing, so i didnt even wast time removing the pump to check it. i pulled the plug from the 4th cylinder and had no fire. i noticed last summer the cdi would be very hot after riding. i didnt know if this was usual? what do you guys think?
