Hey Guys, new to the forums and have 2 main ?'s on my bike right now. First is I make some decent long trips regularly like couple hundred miles every other weekend or so and am looking at a seat upgrade. I know Corbin makes one thats super expensive and read on another forum it's not that great. I'm looking at taking mine to a upholster in town and also a custom bike shop in town to see what they can do for me in thicker foam and re-covering it. I'd have mine and the pass seat done for the girlfriend as well.....(she complains) Anyone with experience in doing this and what did they think?


Secondly anyone ever put a throttle lock on their CBR? My buddy has one on his F2 and he raves about it. I've already got trashed wrists from motocross and on the highway my hand goes numb and wrist lets me know it'd prefer some cruise control. Any tips? I work at a Honda shop so I'm looking at the Vista Cruise. Any advice is much appreciated!

 

I love my corbin. I rode for a couple hours the other day and didn't have any issues (with my as.s anyways). And you can get 'em fairly reasonable on ebay. As for the cruise control issue, personally I dont like 'em, not even in my car. I like to have total control of my vehicles, not that it would cause you to lose control, but that split second could be the difference between a nasty crash and a wicked save. Just my 2 Abes.

 

everyone that I know that uses the Vista Cruiser loves em, not for me tho lol.

Far as the seat Corbin, Sargent, or take it to a local auto upholstery shop and tell em what you want.
