StILL SPUTTERING
 
Ok still having the same issues with my 04 RR but the problems getting worse when the bike is cold runs fine when it worms up in 1st gear sputtering below 3500 rpm sometimes all the way till 5500 rpm in 2nd gear and so on still 3500 rpm tried fuel treatment, plugs and still the same can anyone help the bike has 5800 miles on it if anyone has suggestions id greatly appreciate it

what did you do before it started happening? if you gassed up, have you tried new fuel? fuel filter?

warmed up and sputtering...sounds like after the e-choke cuts out the bike isn't getting fuel or not enough spark. pull the plugs after it does this to see if the plugs are wet or not.

plugs changed...if the above doesn't work, time to bust out the multi-meter and check the coils.

it sat fof awhile due to that dam stator problem i thought it was because it sat i ran the fuel system treatment a couple tanks and it didnt due much i looked for a fuel filter couldnt find it i even went to the repair manuel and it didnt say much about a filter so were would i find the filter and the e-choke? appreciate your help

e-choke is controlled by the computer. that would be the problem.
the fuel filter is in the tank by the fuel pump sitting in fuel!

forget the gas treatment stuff. i would start off by getting all the old stuff out and then put new gas in there.
