Default speedo calibration

so i had a feeling that my speed gauge on the 2006 F4i was a bit off and today with the help of a little hand held GPS from a buddy i discovered that it is off by around 5%. when the speedo reads 100 i am actually going 95 and when i think i am going 125 i am actually going 118. kind of useful for not getting speeding ticket, but not so useful for knowing how fast i am going.

so has anyone had this problem? and if yes how do you calibrate it?

The speedo is intentionally set to read slightly higher from the factory. I was told it is for liability reasons.

I installed a Healtech SpeedoHealer on my 08 1000RR to correct it. Mine was reading 6.7% too high before that.
