Default slow leak around bead

I just changed my tire for the first time yesterday. Other than scratching a little paint off the rim it seemed to go fine. Today my tire is falt... apparently from a slow leak around the bead.

What do I do about it? Take it off the wheel, clean it again and see if remounting it works?

My father helped me with it and he seems to thing that the only possible reason is that we must have torn the bead. I didn't see any sign of that as we mounted it with the spoons. Is something like that common?

Default RE: slow leak around bead

yea sounds like a tear around the bead to me or a bend around the lip of the wheel but im sure that if u hit it hard enough to bend it u would have noticed
